[ Will isn't going to beat around the bush this time. Instead, he's going straight to the point. He'd be right outside Cherrygrove, heading down the road as he starts the feed.
And he looks kind of miffed. ]
If this wretched place can't decide whether or not it wishes to keep me, then I would much rather decline its invitation.
Does anyone know if there is a quicker way to Goldenrod other than on foot?
[ There's a soft coo as a Pidove all but crashes into him before scrambling to land on his shoulder.
The last thing heard before the feed cuts is Will admonishing his new partner ]
Honestly, Cicero. If you insist on staying out of your pokeball, I demand you make an effort to keep up.

And expect rebellion the next time I called him out?
Honestly. Such an inane suggestion is something I would consider counterproductive.

He's just a bird, tell him you're the boss! [She treats everything like crap except for like, 3 people. So does that count?]

Cicero! Behave yourself.
[ A sigh as he strokes the bird's feathers to calm him. The Pidove in question has settled on his shoulder though. ]
I apologize for his sudden outburst. Clearly he disagrees with your methods.

You really can't control him? How sad! My Pokémon would never flare up like that.
[Out of battle and in front of Saionji, at least.] It doesn't matter if they agree. We're humans, or at least, now we are- and they're the animals.

[ Have a perked brow for that because really... he is anything but human. ]
As much as I control him, I cannot prevent him from these outbursts.

[YOU'RE SO OFF SAIONJI YOU BASICALLY JUST LAUNCHED YOURSELF OVER A CLIFF. THAT'S HOW OFF YOU ARE] 'I cannot prevent him'? That's just an excuse! Put some effort into it if you want to be a good Pokémon trainer!

[ There's a small huff here. ]
As willful as my Cicero is, he does respect me and does follow orders in battle which is where I require his obedience.

[Snicker.] Well, it doesn't matter if you were a Shinigami or anything. You're human here, so get used to it.
...And don't trainers need their obedience all the time?
